NSO is a pro am company with limitless ambitions but limited financial resources. We use professionals in all key roles but our day to day administration and most of our chorus are unpaid. We aim to present lesser known or unduly neglected works and to reach as wide an audience as possible by keeping our prices affordable.
We do not hold general auditions for soloists, but only hold auditions for roles in a particular production.
Singers who would like to be considered for solo roles in future productions should send a cv/ biography and photograph(s), preferably by email. We find that for practical reasons singers who work with us tend to live in London or the south east, or at least have a base or friends with whom they can stay in the area.
