NSO has always tried to be true to the composer's intentions by using a full orchestra - subject to the amount of room available in the venue and to some funding constraints of course!
NSO uses its own (professional) orchestra, and has also collaborated with the Orchestra of the NCOS, the Flanders Symphony Orchestra, the Hanover Band and most recently the Kent Sinfonia.
