UK PREMIERE of the original 4 Act version, until
recently thought to have been lost, in the new
critical edition. A chance to discover this fascinating
work, complete with the "lost" last act, by the young
composer "on the road to genius". It is almost as if in
this work the future master had mixed all the
colours he needed, so that later he only needed to
take from his palette what had already been
prepared.
